Garages — Ground-Up, Engineered, Built to Match Your Home

We build new detached and attached garages as real construction projects — proper foundations, framed to code, insulated where it matters, and finished to match the house. Whether it's a single-bay addition, a three-car workshop, or a garage with living space above, one team handles design, permitting, and build.

    Why it matters

A Garage Is a Building — Not a Shed on Slab

Most residential garages are under-engineered. Undersized footings crack. Attached garages leak air and moisture into the house. Roof spans sag under snow load. And the electrical is rarely sized for what people actually park, plug in, or charge.

We design and build garages like the structures they are — properly sited, engineered for Massachusetts snow and wind load, air-sealed at the house interface, and wired for real use including EV charging, workshop tools, or a future finished second story.

    Our process

How We Build a Garage Correctly

Six engineered steps, in order — the same disciplined approach we apply to every ground-up build.

    STEP 01

    Site & Zoning Review

Setbacks, lot coverage, driveway grade, drainage, and utility routing. If the garage you want doesn't fit the site or the zoning, you'll know before design starts.

    STEP 02

    Design & Structural Engineering

Footings, slab, framing, roof structure, and door openings engineered for local snow and wind load — not a stock plan pulled off a catalog.

    STEP 03

    Permits & Approvals

Building permit, zoning approvals, and any conservation or utility sign-offs. We handle the paperwork and inspection scheduling.

    STEP 04

    Foundation & Framing

Frost-depth footings, reinforced slab, and framing built to withstand real vehicle and storage loads — including future finished space above where planned.

    STEP 05

    Envelope & Attached-Garage Details

Air sealing, insulation, fire separation, and code-compliant house-to-garage transitions so an attached garage doesn't dump exhaust, moisture, or cold air into your living space.

    STEP 06

    Electrical, Doors & Finishes

Panels sized for EV charging and workshop loads, quality overhead doors and openers, siding and trim detailed to match your home.

    Garages We Build

Ground-up new garages — detached or attached. We do not retrofit or convert existing garages.

    Detached 1–3 Car Garages

Standalone garages sited to protect grade, drainage, and views — matched to your home's siding, roofing, and trim.

    Attached Garages

New attached garages with properly detailed house-to-garage transitions for air sealing, fire separation, and moisture control.

    Workshop Garages

Higher ceilings, reinforced slabs, dedicated 240V circuits, dust and ventilation strategy, and lighting designed for real work.

    Garages with Living Space Above

Framed and structured for a future or immediate finished second story — office, studio, or accessory dwelling unit.

    EV-Ready Garages

Service upgrades, dedicated Level 2 charging circuits, and conduit runs planned during framing — not chased through finished walls later.

    Multi-Bay & Estate Garages

Larger accessory structures for collectors, tradespeople, and multi-vehicle households — engineered for span, snow load, and door sizing.
